Now Hillary has some competition for president. Fred Thompson will run for president. I can see the presidential debates now. Hillary won't stand a chance. Presidential candidates from the south ... especially conservative southerners always carry the election over liberal northerners. Amen! Also ,I get Fred mixed up with Dr. Phil sometimes. That's got to help.

Gun bill sent to governor as lawmakers rush to complete session. New California legislation which doesn't think the US constitution is enough. Seems ridiculous to me. The second amendment says, "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed." Seems pretty clear to me! Why would we need a gun bill?

Unfortunately, our Pentagon decision makers screwed up on this one. Why are we in Iraq... if not to test out our new weapons? As if it would hurt our American image. Screw that! Test it out in the heat of battle and see if it is worthy. We should be testing any other secret weapons we have also. For God's sake! Patton must be rolling in his grave!
